Ok, so if you’re in the market for a heat pump system, don’t bother having any other company come out. Just go with SumZero. I had 5 companies come out for quotes, some offered slightly better pricing some higher, but it was the people at SumZero who made it a clear choice. Raphael came out for the initial visit. This dude knows his stuff. He kept things simple and gave me options tailored to my families comfort. Communication was fast, he got me a quote in no time and fielded my many questions (I was pretty indecisive, sorry Raph!). Lara and Sarai assisted me with the scheduling and MassSave filing. They were a MASSIVE help. Again, communication and timeliness were top notch. Fast forward to the install. The crew was in and out in a day, they were respectful of my home and kept their work tidy, couldn’t be happier with the end result. The system I landed on with Raph’s help is a ducted Mitsubishi model, I decided to retrofit the system to existing duct work (designed for a NG furnace). Airflow was a bit inadequate (which was to be expected, and was something Raph called out as a potential issue). Well fast forward a few months, it’s winter, I figured I’d pull the trigger on upgrading the ducts and throw in a mini-split for my living room while we were at it. I reconnected with the SumZero team again. And like the first go, things were simple and efficient. I was connected with Paul (Raph was on vacation) but I didn’t feel like we were starting over, Paul picked up right where Raph left off. Listened to my needs, gave me options that made sense and kept things simple. We were able to get the install scheduled for the following week. Like the first time, the install was quick, the crew really worked with me to tweak a few design choices for the ducts. And well, now I have a system that I feel confident about. To the SumZero crew. The Sum Zero team was exceptional- starting with Paul Jameson who was prompt in response, knowledgable and great communication. We got 4 other bids on the job and Sum Zero easily rose to the top. The installation crew were very professional, came on time and asked questions to ensure they were satisfying all our needs. Following the installation, we had a few additional questions about the thermostat- they actually came to the house the next day to walk us through everything again to ensure we were happy. They even submitted the paperwork for MassSave rebates. Any time we call, they deliver. Customer First attitude. Highly recommend.

SumZero was very friendly and had a lot of helpful info to share about my HVAC system. The particular person who came, Nilson, was very nice and knowledgeable!
