We proudly utilize world class products while designing home energy improvements for our customers. Inevitably those products come with highest yield of energy savings and therefore they are the most incentivized by Massachusetts Department of energy and delivered to you by locally sponsored Utility Programs.

Mass Save

We are selected by Mass Save as AC Check trained contractor and able to deliver all eligible rebates and incentives that program offers. Mass Save takes more of a prescriptive energy saving model where adding a new hvac system and/or more insulation is encouraged as well as upgrading the existing one. Mass save also offers very popular 0% Financing option up to 84 months for selected products.
Typical rebates amounts range from $150.00- $8,000.00

Here is the list of the equipment that is eligible:

MVP (Market Value Performance)

Additionally, we are selected by MVP as BPI (Building Performance Institute) certified auditors to perform an energy modeling and perform energy saving measures. MVP therefore takes more of a modeled approach where existing utility data is tracked for past 12 months and modeled into proposed energy improvement measures. No adding of the new equipment is encouraged since this would increase usage and won’t benefit overall saving. Predicted saving will be split by percentage of utility usage.

Customers participating in the MVP Pilot are eligible to finance most measures with the MVP loan:

  • 0% interest
  • $500-$25,000 loans for any residential home regardless of the utility
  • Up to $50,000 for 2-4 family
  • Up to $3,000 for barrier mitigation (Knob and tube, asbestos etc.)
  • Up to $6,000 for 2-4 family
  • 2-7 year terms

Typical rebates range from $500.00- $11,000.00 per Household. Below chart shows the incentive paid out:

Major difference between two programs is the range of the incentives that are covered in the MVP program. Here is the list of energy saving measures Included, but not limited to:

  • Air sealing, duct sealing and insulation
  • Windows
  • Space conditioning systems
  • Domestic water heaters
  • Renewable systems
  • Barrier mitigation (contingent on also financing qualifying weatherization and/or heating equipment, $3,000 or $6,000 limit)

In Addition, It is excited to know that Modeled approach allows to take advantage of the incentives for any home remodel that takes in consideration overall energy usage including kitchen remodel, small additions, changes to the home exterior etc.
